Our 41st Congress was another record breaker. Delegates from more than 70 countries took full advantage of an outstanding scientific program, a sold-out exhibition hall and a dazzling array of social events, including a ‘Dinner Party in White’, held in a beautiful square in the historic old town of Cartagena and a fantastic end of Congress Beach party.

Member Representatives worked in groups, discussing the key challenges facing our professional globally and developing action plans to tackle them.

A collaborative and constructive Rabies Summit
Veterinarians and public health experts from Colombia discussed the challenge caused by rabies in the country and strategies for dealing with it. The Summit, held on World Rabies Day (28 September 2016), was chaired by Professor Michael Day, Chair of the WSAVA One Health Committee, and was attended by Dr Luke Gamble, founder of the charity Mission Rabies.
