Join us to update your knowledge of healthy breeding and other aspects of small animal practice from 25-28 September 2017 in Copenhagen!
Healthy Breeding has been selected as a focus topic by local host, the Danish Small Animal Veterinary Association, in the light of growing concerns about the risks of inherited conditions and the welfare issues they raise for companion animals. A lecture stream covering genetic testing, genetic counselling and other topics is included in the Scientific Program and World Congress will also offer a roundtable discussion on Brachycephalic Syndrome, hosted jointly by the WSAVA and the Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations (FECAVA).
Check out this video of Professor Peter Sandø, Professor of Bioethics at the University of Copenhagen, on the role of the veterinarian in Healthy Breeding – or as, he puts it, Staying Good while Playing God.’
