Malaysian Small Animal Veterinary Association (MSAVA) supports stray-neuter program

Published: 8/2/2017

Working one step at a time towards a ‘stray-free’ Malaysia.

MSAVA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SPCA Selangor, an animal welfare organisation based in Selangor, a state on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It will mean that MSAVA members will work closely with the SPCA Selangor team and offer discounted spay and neutering to stray or abandoned animals, together with vaccination and parasite control treatments.

Dr Amilan Sivagurunathan, President of MSAVA, says: “We are working with SPCA Selangor on this program because we see it as a positive step towards creating a stray-free Malaysia.”

It’s great to see our members supporting such important work – well done MSAVA!
