The Board of the WSAVA’s charitable Foundation is calling for new members to help it to deliver on its mission of developing projects to support veterinary science and education. The WSAVA Foundation works to support veterinarians wherever they are practicing in the world. Its first major initiative, the African Small Companion Animal Network (AFSCAN), is helping to transform small animal practice in Sub Saharan Africa, and it is planning a number of exciting projects for 2017.
WSAVA Foundation Chair Dr Gabriel Varga says: “We have already achieved so much, particularly through AFSCAN, but have ambitious plans for the Foundation and need committed and highly motivated members who are keen to play a role in helping us to develop the profession globally and in supporting our fundraising.”
