Taking place at Copenhagen’s renowned Bella Center, the theme for 2017 is Hereditary Disease with many lectures focused on the importance of responsible breeding. An outreach program on Sunday 24 September will provide an opportunity for practitioners, ethicists nurses and breeders to work together to learn more about this important topic, while the Congress Scientific Program will feature lectures on how inherited diseases affect practice; genetic counselling and discussions on the pros and cons of genetic counselling. Lectures on the most common hereditary diseases in cats and dogs and on the benefits and timing of neutering and breed specificity will also be delivered by world experts.
