Check out the wide range of clinical and personal development content on offer.

Thanks to our collaboration with The Webinar Vet, all WSAVA members are entitled to receive seven hours of free continuing education (CE) at its Virtual Congress on February 1, 2020.  The content includes a range of clinical and personal development topics, plus a live CE event sponsored by MSD, dedicated to the eradication of rabies.  WSAVA members from Tier 1 associations also receive free access to the whole event, while members from Tiers 2 and 3 are entitled to discounted access.

Virtual Congress 2020 is the world’s largest online veterinary congress and will include webinars from 20 global experts across all veterinary fields. It goes live at midnight (GMT) on 1 February and runs for a 24-hour period, providing 18 hours of CE, to ensure delegates in all time zones can access lectures at a time to suit them.  Already more than 6,000 delegates from 97 countries have registered.  Registration includes the opportunity to watch all 18 hours of CE either live or as recordings at a convenient time for up to 12 months afterwards.

This year, for the first time, three hours of CE will be offered in Spanish.

Dr Anthony Chadwick, founder of The Webinar Vet, says: “The Webinar Vet aims to help veterinary healthcare team members to become more confident in their practice and to fit their learning into a busy life in the profession without having to take time out of work or to travel.

“During 2019, we have already provided free access to Virtual Congress to more than 5,000 veterinarians from developing countries as part of our mission of making CE accessible to all. We hope that by partnering with the WSAVA we can increase this ten-fold and we are delighted to offer all of its members from developing countries free access to the vast array of learning on offer at the event.”

WSAVA President Dr Shane Ryan says: “We urge our members to take up this offer of free or discounted access to Virtual Congress 2020 and benefit from the great learning on offer.”
