Nominations now open for Soulsby Fellowships

Funding available for One Health projects.

The Soulsby Foundation has opened a call for applications for its 2020 Travelling Fellowships Programme. WSAVA Executive Board Member Emeritus Professor Michael Day is a trustee of the Soulsby Foundation, which supports veterinary and medical researchers at an early stage in their careers through its Travelling Fellowships. They are awarded to individuals judged to have proposed an impactful project within the international field of One Health. Applicants must be affiliated to a biomedically relevant academic institution in the UK, USA, EU or Australasia.

“A pioneer and champion of the One Health concept, Lord Soulsby of Swaffham Prior in the UK considered a travelling award he received early in his professional life to be the catalyst that defined his impressive career.

“The Soulsby Travelling Fellowships were created to honour his life’s work and are a great opportunity for our members in the relevant countries to make their own contribution to the development of One Health.”
