  • JSAP is the WSAVA's official scientific journal. Published monthly, it covers all aspects of medicine and surgery relating to dogs, cats and other small animals
  • Members of WSAVA member associations receive a 30% discount on the personal subscription rate for an online-only subscription. Members can also receive selected online articles and special issues free of charge

Clinician's Brief - Global Edition

  • Clinician's Brief is the WSAVA's official clinical publication. Its digital Global Edition is rated #1 by practitioners for its content, which promotes best practice in the care of companion animals. It also features articles to support the needs of veterinarians in all parts of the world

Representation at WSAVA World Congress

Your association's Assembly Representative will receive complimentary World Congress registration and invitations to social functions, as well as taking a seat and voting on WSAVA matters at the annual WSAVA annual Assembly meeting.
Your association will also have the use of a meeting room at World Congress (including a/v equipment) for a one-day pre-congress meeting*

The opportunity to host WSAVA World Congress

Any full member association in good standing can submit a bid to host World Congress. It is always a high profile event with many of the world’s leading veterinarians attending as speakers and delegates.

The opportunity to create or participate in a WSAVA Global Outreach program

This is a volunteer veterinary initiative held annually alongside World Congress and which proves popular with delegates from around the world

The opportunity to organize a WSAVA CE event

We can provide support for continuing education seminars/workshops/webinars and activities if your association lacks the resources to set these up for your members.

The opportunity to hold a WSAVA One Care workshop

WSAVA One Care is an exciting initiative aimed at encouraging all of our member associations around the world to set achievable standards for veterinary practice in their country. We provide support and resources to enable your association to do this.

The opportunity to nominate WSAVA Award recipients

Each year, the WSAVA Awards are presented to veterinarians chosen by an international panel of experts from nominations made by member associations so they represent an ideal opportunity to recognize leading veterinarians in your country for their work.

The opportunity to utilize work of the WSAVA Committees and Standardization projects

Through our committees and working groups, we collaborate with veterinary scientists in all fields to enhance knowledge of specific topics relevant to the veterinary clinician. Most of our resources are available for free download on our website and include:

The opportunity to join the WSAVA committees and working groups

All committee and project volunteers are drawn from our member associations and the WSAVA Leadership and Nomination Committee accepts applications year round from any member. We welcome new volunteers who then have the opportunity to work with colleagues from around the world.

The opportunity to play your part in the Global Veterinary Community and support the development of our profession globally

Many associations donate their expertise or financially to WSAVA activities spanning the globe and which support the development of the profession and increasing standards of veterinary care for companion animals. As a member, your association will also be contributing to the WSAVA's global voice and advocacy on issues related to companion animals and will benefit from:
