Annual Report 2010 Lithuanian Small Animal Veterinary Association (LSAVA)

Lithuanian small animal veterinary association is organizing continuing education on the field of small animal veterinary medicine in cooperating with the Lithuanian state veterinary service and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
LSAVA is expanding its activities in small animal microchiping and cooperation with EuroPetNet. LSAVA has approved Good veterinary practice guidelines for small animal clinics in Lithuania.

Radiological diagnosis of pathology in thoracic and abdominal cavities. Kaunas. 2010 05 14. Dr. Aleksandr Ozols (Latvia). 110 participants.
Pain control in small animal practise. Vilnius. 2010 09 24. Dr. Alessandra Bergadano (Switzerland). 98 participants.
Workshop on ultrasound diagnostic imaging. Kaunas. 2010 12 03-04. Dr. Wojtek Atamaniuk (Poland). 22 participants.

The most important subjects in which LSAVA is engaged are: continual education, stray dogs, microchipping, pet register, mail-list, animal protection and welfare.
