VAN Overview

The South West African branch of the Veterinary Association of South Africa was founded in 1947.  In 1984 this branch was dissolved, and the Veterinary Association of Namibia (VAN) was founded, with its own constitution and executive committee.  The VAN organizes regular annual scientific congresses and weekend CPD`s for all members.  In Namibia most registered veterinarians are also members of VAN.  We are a small Association, therefore we do not have a separate Small Animal Veterinary Association in Namibia.
