Could you be the next recipient of the WSAVA-Hill’s Next Generation Award?

We’re looking for applications for this prestigious Award which recognizes an exemplary young professional who is contributing to the betterment of animal life, the veterinary profession and society as a whole. If you graduated with a veterinary degree within the last ten years and work with companion animals, it could be you if:

  • You have an active track record in local/regional or international community service

  • You are actively involved with projects emphasizing social issues such as One Health, Animal Welfare or the Human-Animal Bond

  • You are actively involved in professional development or other veterinary support services

  • You are working to bridge the gap between your generation and others

If you would like to nominate yourself, please send us:

  • A letter explaining why we should consider you

  • A copy of your CV highlighting how you meet the criteria we have identified

  • Two letters of reference confirming the key details of your CV

  • A recent photo

All applications will be evaluated by an independent committee with the candidate who best meets our criteria selected as the Award recipient. The winner will be notified before the end of March 2017. The prize is funding for an economy return ticket to Copenhagen, five nights’ accommodation and free registration to WSAVA World Congress 2017 during which they will be presented with their Award. They will also be awarded a stipend of $1,000.
