Annual Report 2006 Slovak Small Animal Veterinary Association (SkSAVA) (posted November 2007)

SkSAVA focus has been on organizing Continuing Education (CE) for for small animal veterinary practicioners in Slovakia through work done by the CE committee of the Slovak veterinary chamber.

Three major events in 2006:

1. – 2. April 2006 WSAVA Neurology meeting, Smolenice; 110 participants; 22 exhibiting companies; speaker P. Mandigers – Utrecht university
7. – 8. October 2006 Slovak veterinary conference , 4 streams – Farm animal, Equine, Avian, small animal medicine (behavior problems in companion animals); Place – Banskα Bystrica; 47 exhibitors
9. – 10. December 2006: Ear, Nose, and Throat meeting, Smolenice; 110 participants; 23 exhibiting companies; speaker Gert teer Haar – Utrecht University
