It is much larger figure than PSAVA members, however most of them participate in events organized by Association i.e. in last two PSAVA Congress took part over 1500 participants. In 2008 PSAVA joined 22 new members. PSAVA Board activities: 1. 2008 Meetings: 6 times, 2009 – 2 times so far The working groups of PSAVA: Dermatology: workshop JAN 8th 120 delegates
- Attending in FECAVA Council meeting, WSAVA Assembly meeting, Additional Activity of PSAVA in Poland: - CPD work together with UEVP i FECAVA
Above mentioned 2008 activities which gathered 750 participants. In 2009 planned 17 events. So far in 2009 10 events had happened and 900 veterinarians took part in them PSAVA Congress 2008 Annual congress was in 17-19 October in Wisła. Over 650 participants took part in it. The main motive of the congress was Diagnostic Imaging. Saturday had 2 sessions and the speakers: were Dr John Mattoon (USA), Dr Brook Niemiec (USA) DR Tom Scavelli (USA). Sunday had 5 parallel sessions : Oncology with Dr Martin Kessler (Germany) Dermatology with dr Jan Declercq, Dentistry - Dr B.Niemiec, Surgery – Dr Tom Scavelli and Imaging with John Mattoon. 2009 pSAVA Congress will be held in 23-25 October, called as Small Animal Medicine Congress. We invited 25 speakers and the character will be interdisciplinary. On Friday there will be wetlabs and pre-congress conference. Saturday will contain 3 sessions and Sunday 7 parallel sessions. Speakers covering: Ophthalmology, Surgery, Feline Medicine, Reproduction, Dermatology, Neurology, Rehabilitation, Traumatology, Imaging, Management in Veterinary Business, Laboratory Diagnostics and Oncology will present 50 CE hrs. This tendency is required by our members and veterinary community in Poland. |
