Representative for WSAVA Dr Jerzy Gawor and FECAVA: Dr Zbigniew Blimke The number of veterinarians working with small animals in Poland is approximately 3000. It is much larger figure than PSAVA members, however most of them participate in events organized by Association i.e. in last two PSAVA Congress took part over 1500 participants. PSAVA enjoys a growing membership. Election of the new Board was while the AGM 2010:

- Attending in FECAVA Council meeting, WSAVA Assembly meeting,
- More active contribution in European structures. FECAVA Board
- Official Delegates to many foreign veterinary events (Geneva, Birmingham, NAVC, SEVC)
- 2010 PSAVA sponsored translation into polish language of the main stream while SEVC Barcelona. 80 people participated.
- Thanks to BSAVA/PSAVA cooperation in 2011 polish translation while BSAVA Congress was provided
- Additional Activity of PSAVA in Poland:
- „Technicy Weterynaryjni” as the working group under PSAVA was established and actively worked.
- Together with Prime Partner of PSAVA: Hill’s the Webbing and meeting for technicians took place i December 2010
- Standards for hereditary disorders in Ophthalmology, Cardiology and Dentistry were published. and proposal for Kennel Club in Poland.
- “Blue Dog” project working and developping in Poland
- Translated and distributed for freeteh WSAVA Guidelines for Vaccinations, the pdf was submitted to WSAVA office.
Continuing education meetings:
PSAVA Congress 2009-2011
2009 Small Animal Medicine Congress of PSAVA. Was held in Lublin. We invited 25 speakers to provide interdisciplinary character. Although Poland left the CE beneficiant group we still brand our Congress under WSAVA logo being proud of the Membership. The entire day nurse stream was provided. In total 730 participants with veterinarians and technicians were present. 2010 Small Animal Medicine Congress of PSAVA. Was held in Warszawa. Invited 28 speakers, 3 sessions on the first day, 5 sessions on the second day. Successful Pre-congress day and Nurses stream.
