It is very hard to predict the rains, and we traditionally don't hold events till October. We are hosting the lecture, sponsored by Dabur, an Ayurvedic (Ancient Indian Holistic Medical system) Veterinary company. Drs. Krunoslav and Stanislav of Croatia held a workshop on their short private trip to this country. This dealt with the neutering of young and very young dogs at an animal welfare organisation called as the Animal Welfare Association of India (A.I.A.W.A.). Even though we could not officially (financially) invite this duo, they did this tour on their own initiative, and at their own cost. They later visited the Sanjay Gandhi National Park and made valuable suggestions on the treatment of the tigers afflicted with Ehrlichiosis there. We are looking forward to many more visits from WSAVA sponsored veterinarians so that the continuing education programme gets a boost in this country. We are gratified to note a slow but steady trickle of out-of-town veterinarians joing with our Association. Best regards |
