WSAVA CONGRESS-Granada, Spain

The highlight of the WSAVA year is the World Congress, and this year it will be held from October 3rd to 6th in the unique and colourful atmosphere of Granada, Spain. Veterinarians from many nations will gather to experience first rate CPD and meet colleagues from all over the world in these very special surroundings.

The Opening Ceremony on 3rd October will be the most important official occasion of the Congress. Our hosts, the Spanish small animal association (AVEPA), have arranged an event which they say will be enlivened by a few surprises! As usual, there will be a warm welcome from a variety of dignitaries. However, the highlight will no doubt be the specially choreographed performance by the famous flamenco dancer, Antonio Canales, who has returned to the Spanish stage after triumphing on his latest international tour. Afterwards a cocktail soirée to welcome delegates will be held on the terrace of the Palacio de Congresos, with magnificent views of the Sierra Nevada and the Alhambra.
