LAK 2011 Report

LAK is the association of small animal veterinarian practitionner in Luxembourg. The board meets monthly.
LAK is organizing CE for its members in Luxemburg. In 2009 LAK was coorganizing the FECAVA Eurocongress together with AFVAC and SAVAB.
LAK is coordinating the 24 hour emergency system for companion animals in Luxembourg.
Since 2008 LAK is responsible for the theoretical courses for dog-owners requested by national legislation.
In 2009 LAK introduced the blue dog project in Luxembourg( http://www.thebluedog.org )
LAK is member of AMVL ( www.amvl.lu )and FECAVA ( www.fecava.org ).
The year of the vet 2011 was honored with special festivities and conferences for professionals and the large public on topics such as animal wellfare, zoonosis and the animal-human bond in the oldest town of Luxembourg: Echternach.
