During the same month the HVMS supported financially the visit of EAEVE experts in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and assigned members of its executive board to communicate with the visiting experts.

The Journal of the HVMS has been considerably improved and is now published almost exclusively in English. The journal is scheduled to receive an Impact Factor in 2013.
Further activities planned for the following year include the organization of the 12th Congress of the HVMS in April 2012, during which there will be a special pre-congress day dedicated exclusively to feline medicine.
