Kalpana, Plot No. 338 President: Dr. Jayaprakash WSAVA Representative Phone: +91 22 2648 3199 Membership: 616 (as of August 2008) ___________________________________ FSAPAI - a brief history The Pet Practitioner Association of Mumbai, which was representing India to the WSAVA for last 5 years, on the advice of the Assembly of WSAVA took the lead in contacting regional Small Animal Veterinary Practitioner Associations from India and persuading them to come together as a Federation for WSAVA membership. This has resulted in formation of one platform to represent as a one large group of Small Animal Practitioners from India, named as of Federation of Small Animal Practitioners of Association of India (FSAPAI). Activity Report of Federation of Small animal Practitioners of Association of India (FSAPAI) 2010. It was a great pleasure to inform you that Federation of Small animal Practitioners of Association of India (FSAPAI) was officially held is first WSAVA CE Program in India last year on 28th and 29th November 2010. Indian federation, formed on 20th August 2005 in the meeting held in Chennai during the WSAVA Continuing Education Program under the Chairmanship of WSAVA observer Dr. Roger Clarke. This meeting was organized by Pet Practitioners Association of Mumbai (PPAM. For the year 2010, it has been finalized on 4-5th December 2010 with Dr. Michael Lappin and his wife Dr. Catriona MacPhil, who graciously agreed to be guest speaker for WSAVA FSAPAI 2nd CE in Chennai, India. Dr. Umesh Karkare WSAVA India Continuing Education Program: 1st WSAVA FSAPAI CE program 2009November 28-29th 2009 at Punjab Kala Kendra Auditorium, Sector 16, Chandigarrh. India. Total Number of Participants Registered= 186 Conference Attended by Veterinarians, University Teachers and Commercial Representatives The Veterinarians attending conference has all the praised for speaker Dr. Michael Day, for his excellent presentation and patience during Q & A sessions, we felt he was great in answering some of the basic and curious questions from the audience. We wish him good luck for all the future projects and assignments. We wish he visit again in India.
