CSAVS Report (posted July 2007)

In year 2000 CSAVS began to organize WSAVA CE meetings, and in cooperation with Slowenian association since 2001.

Every year Symposia ( one topic – different speakers from Croatia, Slowenia and from abroad) was organized in different country - once in Croatia, and second time in Slowenia, but mostly in Croatia.

Since 2003. there were three meetings with topics «Cat diseases», 2004. «Cat diseases II» and «Diseases of Liver and Pancreas» in 2005., with about twenty speakers from different countries: Ireland, UK, Holland, Austria and domestic.

Because of small associations, number of participants was from 100-180 (with students), which is satisfying.

In Year 2006. we did not organized any WSAVA meetings because CSAVS was the host of European FECAVA congress at the beginning of 2007, which was very successful.

This year the host is Slowenian Association wih topic «Oncology», which will have practical and theoretical part.

I would like to thank again my friend Klaus Drier from Austria, who helped us with one sponsored speaker in 2005.
