Nic graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1986 and has a background in all aspects of general practice, prior to returning to academia to undertake a residency in diagnostic imaging at the University of Cambridge in 2001.
Nic became an imaging specialist having attained her British and European Diplomas in Diagnostic Imaging in 2003 and 2004 respectively. After a year as clinical radiologist at the University of Zurich, Nic returned to private referral hospital practice in the UK.
Since 2007, Nic has worked as a freelance radiologist in the south west of England, also lecturing on imaging topics in the UK and abroad.
Nic is passionate about improving the provision of veterinary education and animal welfare in developing countries, which also helps fulfil her wanderlust for travel too!
