2011 Report

CE programme

June 2011 in Varna was organized Varna small animal veterinary conference together with RSAVA.

The following topics was covered:

Emergency medicine-lecturer Dr. Elke Rudloff, USA

Nephrology and Urology-Prof. Dr. David Senior, USA

Soft tissue surgery-Prof.Dr. Howard Seim, USA

Ophthalmology-Prof. Dr. Ron Ofri, Israel,

Dermatology-Dr. Otto Fisher, Austria

And two practical sessions: Ultrasound - Dr. Alexander Tkachov, Jr,, Russia and Cardiology-Dr. Andrey Kamolov, Russia.

Delegates was from Russia, Serbia, Greece, Slovenia, Macedonia,Romania, Australia and Bulgaria.

In November we prepare WSAVA CE seminar in Ophthalmology with lecturer Prof. Peter Bedford, UK.

Together with our main activity-CE, we are in close relationship with our Ministry of Agriculture for improving of our veterinary legislation.

The main problem of our Association is the relationship with the State
Veterinary Service and state vet's administration.
We have about 1500 practive vet's and about 3500 state vet's.
