September 18th - 20th, 2009 VOEK was running the 24th - Annual-Meeting in Salzburg:
The main topic was From the Symptom to the Diagnose and Therapy – Internal Medicine and Surgery – Dogs, Cats, Pets, Exotic Animals. For the first time we had a Pre-Congress-Day. There were 5 additional seminars and a Vet Nurse Stream. 38 renowned speakers came from Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA and Austria. The Meeting was very successful with 651 delegates (Vets and Nurses). SPONSORSHIP: CE-EASTERN AND SOUTH-EASTERN EUROPE € 1.000.- yearly
PROMOTION: 2010 WSAVA WORLD CONGRESS IN GENEVA
• Logo of the Sao Paulo Congress on the front page of the programme (5.000) and proceedings of the Annual Meeting.

• VOEK-HOMEPAGE: WSAVA-NEWS NEW AUSTRIAN REPRESENTATIVE: Dr. Dreier will step down in Geneva as Austrian Representative in WSAVA. The new Austrian Representative in WSAVA will be Dr. Adalbert (“ATSCHI”) FELLNER (VOEK-BOARD MEMBER) and it will be a pleasure for me to introduce him there.
