Zoetis partners with WSAVA to improve global pain management

Addressing regional variations in the assessment and management of animal pain is our priority

We’re delighted to announce that animal health company Zoetis is supporting the work of our Global Pain Council. The company is a long-term partner of WSAVA World Congress so it is great news that it has now chosen to become a full WSAVA Industry Partner.

Abhay Nayak, Senior Vice President and head of corporate strategy, commercial development, and customer experience, says:

[blockquote author=”” link=”” target=”_blank”]Zoetis is committed to supporting veterinarians in helping improve the lives of dogs and cats living with pain.  We are excited to partner with leaders at WSAVA and the Global Pain Council to extend our reach in providing education and resources to veterinarians worldwide to benefit more pets.[/blockquote]

Dr Shane Ryan, WSAVA President, says:

[blockquote author=”” link=”” target=”_blank”]Managing our patients’ pain is one of the most important things we do as veterinarians. Variations in the provision of effective pain management globally are a serious concern and the Global Pain Council, through its Global Pain Guidelines and other resources, is already providing enormous animal health and welfare benefits. Now, with the support of Zoetis, the Global Pain Council will be able to achieve even more. We are very pleased and greatly appreciate the company’s commitment to support our work in this area.[/blockquote]
